For one of our clients, active in the production sector, we are currently looking for a Junior Accountant to join their team in Brussels.
**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for reviewing purchase requests, receiving supplier invoices and paying suppliers through accounts payable.
- Track incoming invoices and expense reports, check for accuracy and ensure smooth processing.
- Check outstanding amounts against invoices and credit notes received, and ensure that everything is paid on time.
- Prepare corporate tax calculations and postings
- Preparing balance checks
- Preparing VAT returns
- Assist with financial and tax audits
- Prepare accounting reports
- Document and monitor internal controls to support the audit team
**Required Profile**
- First experience in a similar position is a plus
- Practical knowledge of the MS Office package
- You want to gain more experience within a multinational with a matrix structure
- You have a bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting
- You speak fluent French and English, knowledge of Dutch is a plus
