Junior Controller

The **Junior Controller** is accountable for ensuring the availability and accessibility of business information for Contract Logistics and Land Transport for management. They generate and support management in business analysis and proactively develop management reporting, as requested. As part of the Controlling team, they play a crucial role in digitalizing the Finance function.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Adheres to global accounting standards and policies
- Monitors the reconciliation between the accounting system and the operational systems
- Is responsible for the monthly duty account reconciliation
- Analyses and translates data into insights
- Acts as main back-up for the Controller Contract Logistics & Land transport Benelux
- Creates new, or updates, reports with the use of Power BI
- Actively contributes into the roll-out of new technologies

**Who are we looking for?**
- Bachelor degree in economic area
- MS office, Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI, Reporting tools
- Willing to educate yourself on new technologies (RPA, AI, Predictive Analytics, Machine Learning, )
- High level of analytical skills
- Working within cross-functional teams
- Good verbal and written proficiency in Dutch and English. French and any other language is a plus.
- Basic understanding in freight forwarding and logistics
