The **GL Accountant** is responsible for managing the overall accounting operations in one or more branches/legal entities, handling a wide range of tax, accounting, and treasury tasks, including serving as the fiscal representative.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Adhere to global accounting standards and policies
- Ensure proper usage of GL accounts and cost centers
- Reconcile accounting system with operational systems
- Complete monthly closing within set deadlines
- Ensure compliance with external reporting
- Manage T&E expense declaration process
- Handle all tax-related matters (transfer pricing, prepayments, deferred taxes, filings, etc.)
- Support statutory and internal audits
- Plan and manage cash
- Prepare monthly cash pooling overview within set deadlines
- Ensure accurate posting of all transactions

**Who are we looking for?**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 2 years of relevant experience
- MS office, Microsoft Dynamics or any other ERP package
- Good verbal and written proficiency in Dutch and English. French and any other language is a plus.
- Experience in project management
- Basic knowledge in freight forwarding and logistics
- VAT & Income Tax knowledge
