Sarens Projects is for the upcoming 3 years involved in a huge industrial building project, located in Antwerp harbor region. On the project site, we will deliver all kinds of hoisting services, as from the smallest lift till the biggest load-out, in a safe, qualitative and efficient way.

As a technician, you will be involved in keeping the fleet of equipment on the job site op INEOS Project One in optimal condition. During the peak of the project, there will be more than 50 mobile telescopic cranes working, about ten trucks with trailers and all kinds of auxiliary equipment. More than enough to get started and indulge your technical passion.
Your job as a Technician in a nutshell:
- Inspecting and checking the current condition of equipment.
- Preventive maintenance and repairs.
- Troubleshooting: detecting and resolving technical faults of an electrical, hydraulic and mechanical nature.
- Reporting any additional/unusual malfunctions, deviations, damage, etc.
In this position, you will report to the Fleet Coordinator Project One and work closely with the other Technicians and the on-site operations crew.
- **PROFILE**
We are looking for a problem-solving Handy Harry who has been bitten by technology and heavy equipment. A nice diploma or years of experience can be a nice asset, but at Sarens we attach more importance to the right mentality
Key profile requirements:
Logical insight
Eye for safety
Doer mindset
Interest in large machines, exceptional works and technology in general
These profile characteristics are a strong asset:
Experience in maintenance or repair of rolling stock
Knowledge and interest in one or more of these : electricity, hydraulics, mechanics.
Fluent in English (reading and speaking).
Basic computer skills.
VCA - certificate (or equal)

- Project Based, Belgian contract - full-time (Possible in a rotation system). Estimated duration: 3 years.
