Our Power & Infrastructure Business Line manages a large portfolio of delivery activities related to thermal power generation and transport/distribution of electricity; key topics are the energy transition and the sustainability of energy supply.

Our solutions include offering operational expertise to both power assets and industries to anticipate and solve technical issues, improve operational excellence, increase efficiency and become future-proof. We perform consultancy-like missions at our customers’ premises as well as troubleshooting interventions. We also develop research programs for ENGIE, such as mapping, assessing, testing and de-risking disruptive new technologies, supporting the ENGIE GBUs in their challenges, bringing in innovation via own and co-development.

**As Business Developer, you**:

- Report to our Power & Infrastructure Business Line’s Head of Sales, member of your Business Line’s Core Team
- Are part of the Sales Line and Community of Practice within ENGIE Laborelec
- Are a sales representative of ENGIE Laborelec in
- and outside ENGIE

**And carry out the following key accountabilities**:

- You focus on developing and growing existing customers, by creating and seizing new business opportunities
- Playing an active role in the acquisition and retention of new customers
- Working closely with your customers and our operational teams of Delivery & People to learn and understand customer needs, business challenges, opportunities and risks in terms of business development
- Developing and maintaining customer relationships through projects and services related discussions, site visits, technical support facilitation and negotiation
- Supporting and working closely with our experts in terms of offering and selling products & services
- Attending internal and external events such as conferences, trade fairs and industry shows
- Ensuring and promoting customer and sales follow-up via our CRM systems
- Inspiring and empowering with exemplary leadership in your Sales field

**You might be our future Business Developer if you**:

- Hold a **Master degree in Engineering,**:

- Are** familiar with the energy sector**, preferably in highly challenging environments from a technological perspective
- Have the ability and appetite to understand technological challenges and technical solutions
- Know how to translate complex technical solutions into attractive and effective marketing material
- Develop strong relationship and stakeholder management, both internally and externally
- Are result-driven, and have a strong interest for the energy transition
- Have good collaboration and negotiation skills
- Build strong and trusting sustainable relationships, and create your networks
- Show good resilience and keep your cool in all circumstances
- Demonstrate the highest level of trust, confidentiality and integrity
- Are a fluid communicator in **Dutch, French and English**
