**Job description**:
- Voor een internationaal chemiebedrijf met aanwezigheid in alle werelddelen dat hoogwaardige producten levert voor een veelheid aan toepassingen zijn we op zoek naar een Quality Control Lab Technician. Je verantwoordelijkheden omvatten:
- Je voert de release van tussenproducten en eindproducten uit, op basis van voorgeschreven testen en specificaties. Mogelijke testen zijn een controle van uitzicht, viscositeit, solids%, pH, fijnheid, kleur,... Indien het product buiten specificatie ligt, maak je gebruik van de beschikbare tools om te berekenen welke hoeveelheden er van welke grondstoffen moeten bijgeladen worden om het product binnen spec te krijgen.
- Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de toestand van de materialen en meetinstrumenten in het QC labo en maakt melding van elk abnormaliteit en/of falen. Je voert ook wekelijks de nodige validaties uit.
- Je maakt producties op laboschaal (± 1 kg) wanneer dit nodig is. Dit kan o.a. zijn om de oorzaak van een kwaliteitsincident na te gaan of bepaalde correcties voor productie eerst te testen op kleine schaal.
- Je verwerkt tijdig de batchkaarten in SAP, nadat alle data geregistreerd zijn en alle testen uitgevoerd, opdat het product kan verscheept worden. Je zorgt er zo mee voor dat de stock in SAP nauwkeurig is en voert de nodige correcties uit indien dit niet zo is (in samenwerking met warehouse operator).
- Je zorgt voor de veiligheid op het werk, voor zichzelf, zijn collega’s en contractors. Je rapporteert elke vorm van EHS-incident, inclusief spills.
- Je zorgt dat de planningstool en infobord up to date gehouden wordt om zo collega’s te informeren over de status van elke productie. je neemt ook actief deel aan de dagelijkse shiftwissel en geeft feedback inzake uitgevoerde testen en status van de behandelde batchen.
