**ABOUT THE JOB**:
**F**l**e**is**h**manHillard's Brussels is looking for a Graduate Intern to join this fast-growing practice and gain professional experience in EU public affairs.**
Our Brussels Integrated Communications and Reputation Management Team works with clients; specifically, we advise these clients on the implications of EU public policy for their organisations and develop and implement advocacy and communication strategies to help them enhance their positioning. As part of a wider team, we collaborate with colleagues across the office on their specific areas of expertise including energy, healthcare, financial services, and technology, and we work with colleagues in other FleishmanHillard offices across the Europe, Middle East and Africa region as well as with key offices around the world.
**What you will do**
- Work on communications strategy aiming to raise our clients' profile
- Engage on social media and with traditional media;
- Draft content, shape and disseminate their messages and leverage their different communications channels targeting EU policymakers and stakeholders ecosystem
**Who you are**
- You have excellent oral and written communication in English; fluency in one or more other languages is a plus
- You have a good storytelling approach
- You have experience or interest and knowledge in copywriting, proofreading and editing
- You have a good grasp of social and traditional media channels (international, EU and/or local)
- You have a good understanding of EU policymaking
- You build and maintain trusting relationships
- You manage multiple issues and deadlines
- You have an entrepreneurial and creative approach to problem solving
- You are committed to the highest standards of service delivery
- You are dynamic, curious, supportive, collaborative and a willing team player
- Ideally, you have initial working experience relating to communications and/or media relations. This experience should ideally be acquired working with the EU institutions, EU trade associations, in-house or through a communications consultancy.
