Als operationeel directeur rapporteer je aan onze algemeen directeur en heb je de volgende verantwoordelijkheden:

- De algemene verantwoordelijkheid voor het team en het hotel dragen bij afwezigheid van de General Manager.
- Een goede werkomgeving creëren zodat teams zich kunnen ontwikkelen - afdelingen met elkaar verbinden om een gevoel van eenheid te creëren
- Leid de dagelijkse activiteiten, plan en wijs werk toe zodat de juiste personeelsbezetting aanwezig is
- Ontwikkelen en onderhouden van goede werkrelaties met belangrijke klanten en externe contacten om de inkomsten te verhogen.
- Gasten voorzien van hotel
- en lokale informatie om hun ervaring te verbeteren.
- Nauw samenwerken met belangrijke bedrijfsleiders, ambtenaren en vertegenwoordigers van lokale gemeenschapsgroepen in de stad om te zorgen voor een constante high-profile exposure voor het hotel.
- Het uitvoeren van duty management taken zoals vereist.
- Neemt de algemene verantwoordelijkheid voor het team en het hotel op zich bij afwezigheid van de General Manager.
- Optreden als centraal communicatiepunt tijdens nood-/crisissituaties; ontwikkelen en onderhouden van relaties met de lokale brandweer, politie etc..

**Profil**:
Om succesvol te zijn in deze rol heb je een:

- Succesvolle staat van dienst in het managen op HOD-niveau binnen een hotel of horecagelegenheid
- Europese taalvaardigheden waaronder vloeiende kennis van het Nederlands en Engels zijn essentieel.
- Ervaring binnen een groot wereldwijd hotelmerk heeft de voorkeur
- Ervaring in relatiebeheer met meerdere belanghebbenden
- Ervaring met het werken binnen een gestructureerde teamomgeving
- Sterke interpersoonlijke vaardigheden en het vermogen om op alle niveaus effectief te communiceren en samen te werken
- Het vermogen om prioriteiten te stellen, onder druk te werken en deadlines te halen
- Commercieel inzicht
- Effectieve beïnvloedingsvaardigheden
- Gedreven en vastberaden om resultaten te bereiken
- Zeer gemotiveerde en enthousiaste teamspeler
