Sourcing & Procurement Officer

World of Tents heads a group of company with a heart for tents and related products. It is the parent company of several tent brands, including Autentic, Alpinter & Shield. World of Tents is headquartered in Renaix and employs about 30 people.
We are currently searching for a Sourcing and Procurement Officer for the group.

**WHAT WILL YOU DO?**:

- Manage sourcing projects: Oversee and execute sourcing projects from start to finish, coordinating with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and meet project goals.
- Supplier selection and contracting: Support the supplier selection process, handle negotiations and manage contracting in compliance with internal procedures.
- Market monitoring: Continuously analyze market conditions to identify opportunities and risks, helping to diversify the supplier base and reduce dependencies.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with suppliers, conduct assessments, and support the qualification and improvement of supplier products and services.
- Negotiation and RFx management: Conduct Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes, analyze offers, and negotiate agreements to secure the best terms in line with the companies guidelines
- Performance evaluation: Regularly evaluate supplier performance using objective criteria, focusing on cost, quality, service, and sustainability metrics.
- Sustainability integration: Incorporate environmental and sustainability considerations into sourcing projects, contributing to the company’s broader sustainability strategy.
- Stakeholder support: Coordinate regularly with internal stakeholders such as Supply Chain, Quality Control & Product & Development, regarding sourcing projects. Provide insights on procurement options, cost savings, and sourcing best practices.

ERP enthusiast (Odoo)
- Creative problem solver who loves to multitask
- Sustainability isn’t just a buzzword for you—it’s part of your approach to sourcing.
- You have a Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of experience in supply chain or sourcing. A background in the têxtile or garment industry? Even better
- You know how to connect with everyone—from suppliers to team members—adjusting your communication style as needed.
- You’re fluent in English and either Dutch or French, with bonus points for any additional languages.
