Admistrative Assistant

CAF is one of the international market leaders in the design, manufacture and maintenance of modern rolling stock. For its belgian subsidiairy, CAF has been chosen by De Lijn to design and manufacture 146 new trams for the Flanders. Those vehicles are currently being produced in our factory in Zaragoza (Spain). The first tram has lately been delivered in Oostende and is currently being tested before its commissioning.

For this project we are currently looking for an Warranty administrator.

**The position**

The Warranty administrator supports the warranty team in Oostende, a team consisting of technicians and engineers who take care of the warranty work on the 146 new trams that CAF is manufacturing in Spain and will be delivering to De Lijn.

He or she is expected to:

- support in organizing transports,
- communicate with suppliers,
- take care of the inventory and orders supplies when needed,
- make sure all systems are updated,
- keep track of time registrations,
- deal with invoices,
- perform general (ad hoc) administrative tasks,
- provide official documentation between CAF and the various stakeholders.

This person will report to the Supply Chain Coordinator who is responsible for multiple countries and is located in the Netherlands.
- At least 1 year of work experience in a similar role.
- Excellent workable knowledge of Excel, Word and good with IT systems.
- Attention to detail, the ability to multitask and prioritize according to the workload.
- Good communication skills.
- Fluent in Dutch with a good level of English, both verbal and written. Knowledge of Spanish or Turkish would be an advantage.
