- Univercells Technologies By Donaldson provides innovative biomanufacturing technologies to help customers achieve cost-effective viral production from R&D to commercial scales. Leveraging the strengths of process intensification and chaining, the technology portfolio delivers increased performance with minimized footprint and costs.- We build upon years of expertise and capitalize on technology developed by Univercells and vetted by world leaders to deliver the next evolution of bio-manufacturing technologies.- YOUR MISSION- As Project manager you will support Univercells Technologies in delivering the various projects being executed, be they New Product Introduction or other projects of business importance. You care about the team functionality and strive to increase the team efficiency. In your role, you will engage and align all involved Univercells Technologies people in order that their contributions converge towards timely & reliable project delivery. You will follow the budget of your projects and will contribute to high-level management of resources across all departments impacted by projects. You will also help to develop business tools to enhance project and resource management.- Based on-site in the Nívelles facility you will join a collaborative team full of passionate change-maker. As Project Manager, you will be part of the Engineering team, reporting to the Engineering Manager responsible for Single use Development.- YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead multi-departmental teams to deliver product development projects according to the New Product Development & Introduction and Product Life-Cycle Change Control processes.
- Frame Project Goals and Objectives in a project charter and ensure alignment of scope and deliverables across all critical stakeholders.
- Act as single point of contact for overall project planning and financial performance metrics. Partner with Finance to ensure that the team is reviewing the budgets, implementing changes and tracking variances.
- Proactively identify and mitigate issues and risks that could impact the progression of the project while exploring and maximizing opportunities during all stages of the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project activities, milestones and scheduling, escalating deviations as required to Development and Operations Leadership.
- Facilitate the creation of project budgets by taking inputs from functional leaders and hold those functional budget owners accountable with proper financial consolidation and metrics.
- Set and monitor project quality and performance with KPIs, and feedback-based project reviews
- Manage the project communication to identify the key messages, interfaces and timings for effective & transparent communication to all stakeholders.
- Partner with all functions and stakeholders to establish a collaborative environment for effective project communications and adjustments. Inform stakeholders in a timely fashion, facilitate quality decision-making and avoid misunderstanding.
- Drive best in industry practices by contributing lessons learned, challenges, solutions and involvement in process improvement projects.
- YOUR QUALIFICATIONS- MSc in Engineering fields, preferably with Bio-Engineering or Materials emphasis
- Minimum 5 years combined experience in Pharma/Biotech space or in a similar quality-oriented environment.
- cGxP knowledge is a plus.
- Demonstrated project management accomplishment in New Product Development and Introduction or equivalent in product engineering.
- Strong in communication skills and team player.
- Assertive and autonomous.
- Demonstrated influencing skills.
- Ability to work in fast paced environments and to combine strategic and tactical actions.
- Ability to work with software tools for project management and resource planning.
- Fluent English and French required.
