**SUMMARY**
Within its specialism, we strive always towards customer satisfaction and is the core of this role. The Solution Advisor is responsible for driving and co-owning Multivendor security sales, business development, and marketing activities. The role functions as a partnership with the primary Inside Solution Advisor, Account Manager and as a result is not limited to traditional “overlay role” restrictions. The Solution Advisor is expected to take a consistently proactive approach to developing new business in the region and help existing customers with any questions relating its specialism within our Multivendor (pre)sales department.
In this role you will be an entrepreneur in the security domain of SoftwareONE Belgium, although you will work actively together with the Dutch colleagues, the security Multi Vendor approach will be relative new.
You will be an advisors in an independent way regarding our customers. This role implies setting up and presenting the advice to the customer, development of portfolio, informing the organization of our customer, supporting Sales and securing knowledge regarding the applicable specialism. You are responsible in maintaining an advanced level of knowledge of all services and products of the applicable publisher or security market.
**TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Analyze customers current environment / situation and Advise them within security specialism to create leads and opportunity’s.
- Translate the needs and Business outcome of the customer to suitable solutions.
- Investigate the possibilities on developing new local security services.
- Support with local marketing actionsThe Solution Advisor is responsible to maintain an advanced level of knowledge of all services and products of the applicable publisher or theme’s. Supporting Sales & Account management to create quotations.
- Achieve all necessary certifications within your vendor portfolio.
- Working closely with the Consultants and Advisors in an independent way with regard to our publishers.
- Develop and maintain a strong relationship with the vendors, partners and suppliers you are responsible for.
- Work closely with, lead and coach Internal Solution Advisor
- You are the first point of contact for our internal organization regarding security.
- Initiate, write and improve Security Advisory Services towards customers
- Build and expand the security services proposition
In this role, we expect from the Pre-Sales Security Advisor to strengthen the team and build a joint security strategy for the future.
**GOALS**
- Grow Security (services) business
- Expand our Multi Vendor share of wallet within our customers
- Strengthen our market position and Multi Vendor portfolio
- Alignment with our Services team and global (managed) security initiatives
What we need to see from you:
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Overall 2-3 years of experience within the security domain
- Self starter / entrepreneurship
- Knowledge with latest market trends
- Solutions Selling background
- Knowledge of endpoint security of the following vendors: McAfee, Sophos, Microsoft or Trend Micro is preferable.
Fluent in both Dutch and English, French is a pre
