**About the role**:
Finance is a major contributor to the leadership, growth, value, and reputation of LifeScan.

The Senior Financial Analyst will support these principles to accomplish the mission of being a proactive business partner and delivering superior financial services while upholding the highest integrity.

You will be responsible for Reporting, Budgeting, and Actuals of Global Inventory and related Cost Accounting, and act as the key financial business partner to the Supply Chain Planning organisation and stakeholder in the global S&OP process.

This position has a global scope and requires cross-functional partnership with various supply chain, business and finance teams. The role will report up through the Finance Manager Global Supply Chain.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Financial ownership of Global Inventory, Inventory Gross-to-Net adjustments, Inventory integrity and Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Ownership and supervision of the Inventory related monthly and quarterly closing processes across all entities holding inventory; review, and analysis of Global Inventory results
- Ownership of the monthly Supply Chain Volume reporting and Global Inventory reporting pack, dashboards, and KPI's
- Ownership of the Supply Chain Planning Department Spend and Headcount reporting
- Ownership of tracking and reporting of Inventory related cost savings initiatives (CIP's)
- Ownership of Inventory input to the working capital workstream
- Ownership of the Volume and Inventory forecasting in the periodical budgeting cycles and annual planning process
- Ownership of the quarterly Global Inventory flux analysis across the P&L or Balance Sheet
- Internal / external audit support

**Requirements**:
**Required Qualifications and Skills**:
We're looking for someone who is degree qualified, preferably majoring in Accounting or Finance. A Master's Degree, MBA or other financial certifications (i.e. CPA/CIMA) would be desirable. You'll also have a minimum of 4-5 years professional experience, ideally in a consumer of pharmaceutical Supply Chain finance role. Previous experience in Inventory Management/Controlling is preferred.

You'll bring:

- Strong technical accounting and analytical skills (such as cost accounting/ controlling)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to communicate effectively in an international environment with different levels of a global organisation
- Strong relationship building and influencing skills; able to embed robust, productive working relationships with internal stakeholders, both at team level as well as with key individuals within the organization
- Strong IT and systems skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel, with an ability to learn and adapt to new systems. Experience of using JD Edwards (JDE) and Hyperion Essbase experience is preferred but not essential
- An ability to challenge the status quo, bringing recommendations forward, and fostering a process improvement culture
- A dynamic, proactive approach, where you thrive on delivering a wide-ranging workload against tight deadlines in a complex environment
