Thales Belgium SA, Belgium competence center of Thales, is a company located on 2 sites, one in Tubize (near Brussels) and the other one in Herstal (near Liège). Thales Belgium, which employs more than 280 collaborators, is specialized in the design, development and supply of critical information systems for customers in the sectors of Defense, Security (including Cyber) and Aerospace.
In this context, we are looking for a:
**PMO Transversal Expert**
**Mission**:As PMO Transversal Expert you are specialized in one or several domains of Bid or Project Management and contributes to PMO’s Operational Activities. You will be part of the deployment of the strategical roadmap developed for Bids & Projects department. The main objective is to reach the satisfaction of the different internal stakeholders and to meet strategic business objectives.
You will coordinate with the various departments (Bids & projects, Sales & Marketing, Finances and Engineering) for all aspects relating to your specialty(-ies).
The PMO transversal expert reports to the Head of PMO within Bids & Projects department.
**Main Responsibilities**:
As PMO Transversal Expert, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the actions of the Project Management Office covering your different specialty(-ies) and domain(s) of Bid / Project Management.
In the scope of your specialty, the you will be in charge of:
- Developing, deploying and improving of standards (governance, processes, methods and tools) for bids and projects management within the organization.
- Leading the process with the various actors of change, ensuring consistency and involvement of the concerned teams to jointly ensure the delivery of the transformation. If required, you will organize dedicated meeting with different stakeholders (put in place existing or new governance).
- Supporting and challenging the teams with a coaching posture in your area of expertise.
- Producing and analyzing data related to capacity management (resource plan).
- Participating as needed to progress meetings, bid and project reviews in order to capture relevant information.
- Capitalizing on best practices and proposing recommendation and improvement related to processes and/or tools.
- Generating reporting related to opportunities from our CRM tool.
- Driving conjointly our portfolio management tool with the Head of PMO.
**Profile**:
- You have at least 5-7 years’ experience in a PMO or PM position in an international and technically demanding environment.
- You are analytical, autonomous and rigorous with an ability linked to innovation.
- You have strong oral and written communication skills.
- You have a very good knowledge of MS Suite (for e.g.: Excel) and one of the following is considered as an asset: Microsoft Project, PowerBI, and/or Sharepoint, background in PPM tools.
- You are fluent in both French and English (read, written and spoken).
- You will work inside a team with diverse backgrounds and nationalities.
- The position is based **_full-time in Tubize, Belgium. _**
