**The company**:
Elia is the operator of the Belgian high-voltage transmission grid (380 kV to 30 kV) and is responsible for developing and maintaining the grid, providing users with access to it and controlling energy flows. The Elia group is a team of 2,000 professionals who have the task of ensuring the continuity of electricity supplies in Belgium.
As owner and operator of electricity transmission networks in Belgium and Germany Elia has an important role and mission in supporting and implementing Europe's energy and climate policy.

**Function**:
As a Project Leader, you will be responsible for power infrastructure projects (380, 220, 150, 70 and 36 kV) relating to the construction, extension and replacement of high-voltage substations.
The job mainly involves the following duties:
- You will define, design, research and implement projects through to commissioning (and administrative closure), in line with the requirements and standards in force.
- You will work in a multidisciplinary team (functional rather than hierarchical relationship) taking into account the necessary and available resources, in collaboration with the departments concerned.
- You will work for one or more programme managers (functional rather than hierarchical relationship) and will be responsible for managing the project budget and schedule.
- You will report to your hierarchie (Head of Project Leaders) with respect to schedule management, and personal development, in both technical and soft skills training.
- You will be involved in drawing up tender documents and in procurement processes.
- You will organise and coordinate the performance of work on-site, in partnership with the relevant entities of the Elia Group and the contracting parties (suppliers, contractors, outsourcing companies, etc.).
- You will propose technical and safety/security improvements by contributing proactively to the feedback process.
- You will help to develop the Infrastructure Division, and Elia as whole, by actively participating in cross-cutting working groups.
**Your Profile**:
- You are by training a civil or industrial engineer (electrotechnical or electromechanical engineering).
- Experience in project management and/or knowledge of the high-voltage sector is a plus.
- You are fluent in Dutch and French.
- You have a strong sense of responsibility and excellent organisational skills.
- You communicate well, are assertive and customer-oriented, work well in a team and are very creative.
