DevOps Sysadmin

IMDC is an international consultancy providing advice upon the development and management of water related projects in the offshore, marine, coastal and river environment. IMDC provides services to the renewable (offshore wind, wave and tidal energy), power generation (nuclear, gas), transmission infrastructure, navigation, integrated water risk management, ports & harbours, environmental and public sector markets (flood risks, coastal protection).

**Your role**- Devops for the DigitalWaterSolutions team.
- Support software developers for docker/kubernetes/rancher issues.
- Create and improve the CI/CD pipelines, deploys and upgrades.
- Monitor of services, health and performance.
- Manage service offerings through Network configurations, proxies, load balancers,
- Backup IT.

**Your profile**
- You have experience in IT, either through a degree or with on-the-job experience as e.g. SysAdmin. You have a first work experience as DevOps engineer.
- You know your way around computers and servers, cloud services and virtualization.
- DNS, TCP/IP, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Rancher, VMs, deployment pipelines, Git,you know how to make changes and configurations using the tools at hand.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills, creative in problem-solving.
- You have programming and development skills but prefer setting it all up and making it work together.
- Good working knowledge of English. Dutch is desired. French is a plus.
