IPA acts as the main risk carrier for AXA Partners’ assistance business in Europe. The company is based in Belgium and has 10 branches across the EU. The Compliance expert is responsible for supporting IPA Compliance Officer in respect of the IPA Branch structure and Belgium regulatory monitoring.

In addition, the role will support central compliance in implementing and ensuring a robust and effective compliance function across all business units within AXA Partners. The Compliance expert will work as part of the Central Compliance team to implement policies and procedures and ensure delivery of yearly mandatory assessments and compliance plan. The Compliance expert is responsible for assisting the Compliance Function of IPA in implementing and ensuring a robust and effective compliance function across all business units within AXA Partners.

**DIMENSIONS OF ROLE**
- Support IPA Compliance Officer in assessing, mitigating and remediating compliance and regulatory risks
- Member of the Regional Compliance team and General Secretary team
- Perform the regulatory watch on NBB and FSMA requirements and contribute to their implementation locally and/or in the branches
- Assist in the delivery of Compliance Training and Awareness locally
- Develop and expand Compliance skills from working closely with senior team members in Compliance but also with the General Counsel on regulatory aspects in order to grow in the position and gain autonomy
- Provide support in completing annual Group Compliance Risk Assessment and Anti-Bribery and Corruption Risk Assessment for IPA
- Provide BAU Compliance support to all Business Units within IPA SA and globally AXA Partners as requested
- Provide Quality Assurance to the Compliance Team
- in respect of IPA activities
- Conduct Compliance Monitoring Reviews in line with the annual IPA SA Compliance Plan
- Provide assistance on the preparation of Compliance Metrics for IPA Board Reporting
- Promote a One AXA Partners Compliance team across all business lines

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

Ensure compliance with rules and regulations applicable to the company

**Objectives: Assist the IPA Compliance Officer for the Belgian entity and its branches (NBB Circular NBB_2012_14 of 4 December 2012 and the FSMA)**

1. Elaborate compliance reports that commit the company to the regulators, the auditors, the AXA Partners Group.
2. Carry out various legal analysis relating to the applicable regulations
3. Conduct compliance risk analysis.
4. Adapt on a regular basis the company's organization and operating methods to its legal and compliance framework.
5. Inform the company management of any incident of non-compliance.
7. Follow up on these actions and maintain a record of the incidents thus detected.8. Monitor developments in the field closely to maintain the level of knowledge and keep abreast of changes in rules and legislation.

Ensure relations with insurance regulators

**Objectives: Assist the IPA Compliance Officer and General Counsel to ensure relations and meet the requirements of the various regulators for IPA SA and its branches.**

1. Analyze data and prepare reports and documents to be provided to the NBB and the FSMA.

Diffusion of the Group's principles/standards

**Objectives: Ensure that the AXA Group's compliance principles and standards are communicated and adapted to IPA and its branches.**

1. Take the necessary training and information actions of the staff.
2. Contribute to the completion of operational control questionnaires and surveys.
3. Ensure, in liaison with Central Legal and Central Compliance, a regulatory watch.
