**In search of Marine Geologist**:

- As part of the GEOxyz’s DataLab team, you will refer to the Project Geo Lead or the Project Coordinator. You will be involved in data analysis / data interpretation of seabed / sub seabed dataset and reporting for projects on the continental shelf (essentially wind farm and associated export cable).With a real appetence for marine geology, your main tasks will be:
- To perform preliminary background studies to acquire geological knowledge on the study area.-
- To conduct data analysis and data interpretation of MBES, SSS, SBP and/or seismic datasets. Consequently, an experience in SBP / seismic data interpretation is absolutely requested for the job.-
- To correlate and integrate these different data to produce a geological model.-
- To report and produce documents (concise text and related illustrative documents) to describe and explain results, internally (refer to Geo Lead or Project Coordinator) and externally (report to the client)-
- To liaise and attend meetings with Lead Geo, reporters and coordinators involved into the project.-
- To standardise work methodology and establish improvements.- Optionally, your knowledge in sediment mobility allows you to perform analysis in sediment dynamic._
- Ideally, you also have the capacity to produce ground model thanks to your additional knowledge in geotechnical data interpretation._

**What do we expect from you?**:
- You obtained a master's degree in marine geosciences or marine geology.-
- You can analyse geological and geophysical dataset with, necessarily, experience in SBP / seismic data interpretation and cross correlation with MBES/SSS data.-
- You have GIS knowledge and you can work with the GIS software (QGis, Global Mapper or equivalent).-
- You know interpretation software for seismic date (Kingdom, Delph, Petrel or equivalent).-
- You can work in a team and independent.-
- You are methodical, rigorous and well-organized.-
- You have strong analytical thinking skills.-
