**PURPOSE OF THE **JOB**:
This position aims to manage product detailed design (Signalization, traction or services) within the “Site Application engineering office” by relying on business experts and cross-functional functions.

Be responsible for definition files (Engineering Bill Of Materials and associated 3D model) for prototypes and series sub systems.

Hierarchical reporting to the “Product Development Domain Leader” from the Site Application Engineering Office.

In permanent link with all métier’s teams of the D&IS and Traction Integration Design office,

In permanent link with other Site engineering departments (Signalization, Traction, Services)

In permanent link with industrial departments (sourcing, manufacturing, maintenance, test & commissioning)

In link with internal and external customers.

**MISSIONS**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Be the representative of the “D&IS and Traction Integration Design office” in collaboration with the core teams and take responsibility (Quality, Costs, Delays) for the mechanical and electrical design activities and associated cross-functional validations for the projects for which you are responsible,
- Ensure the daily management of the team of mechanical and electrical designers assigned to the projects for which you are responsible,
- Establish the design schedule and ensure its regular monitoring, trace deviations and detailed design modifications,
- Be the single point of input data (engineering, project) and ensure its distribution within its team of designers,
- Plan and drive the “design reviews” in the presence of the relevant stakeholders, by rely on the various cross-functional functions of the department, using available preparation checklists,
- During the prototype production phase, support the project industrial correspondent and manage the processing priorities of the design issues.
- After the prototype production phase, deliver and validate a mature and structured Engineering Bill Of Materials (EBOM) including articles and associated documents, consistent with industrial flows,
- Provide the necessary product support after the Final Equipment Inspection (FEI)
- be responsible of the deliverable’s conformity to ALSTOM guidelines (technical content, respect of drawing rules, specifications, customer requirements up to (but not limited to) 3D models, plans, principle schematics, checklists, reports (Stress, fire&smoke, REACH, thermal, detailed drawings etc )

**Performances measurement**:

- Quality : Right first-time deliverables (no modifications due to design errors after delivery)
- Costs : Operational activities completed with respect of the defined budget
- Delays : On Time Delivery, In fulfillment

**QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS**:
**Technical skills**:

- General knowledge of electromechanical and mechanics, and various techniques of metal construction, industrial wiring,
- Basic knowledge of thermal, aeraulic, watertightness and Electromagnetic compatibility would be an asset
- Operational CAD knowledge (able to use a CAD tool like CATIA, Solid works as reader to open 3D models)
- General project management knowledge
- Operational knowledge of usual MS Office tools

**Education**:
Academic level:

- Bachelor of Mechanics or equivalent (Master is an asset)

Languages:

- English knowledge is required (Intermediate level B1 or equivalent)
