About the position

In this role, you will report to the Finance and Business Control Manager and you will have different responsibilities:

- Provide support or independently perform the monthly/annual closings and reporting package to Corporate.
- Critically analyse the balance sheet and make the necessary reconciliations.
- Prepare, execute, and analyse the tax and VAT returns, and contribute to financial activities.
- Be in charge of the accounting of a small sales office sister company (France)
- Make various entries as needed: payroll entries, depreciation, commissions, etc.
- To drive the monthly costing analysis and provide monthly explanations of variances to the management team.
- Assist on specific projects in the controlling area (standard costing and annual budgets, internal controls of financial procedures, financial inventory management )
- Collaborate with other internal departments to implement special projects and improvements.

We are looking for someone with strong accounting skills, an analytical approach, a focus on results and details, an ability to collaborate with cross-departmental teams. With good communication skills at all levels and high ethical standards, this dynamic person will contribute to our financial success while maintaining exemplary professional standards.

In this context, we are looking for a person who:

- Have at least a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting
- Have a proven experience in accounting/finance in an industrial company, and ideally with ERP systems.
- Are of course familiar with the Microsoft Office tools
- Are fluent in French and have a very good working knowledge of both written and spoken English
- Proven knowledge of French accounting practices is an asset
