We are looking for a Roving Supply & Logistics Advisor that can provide expert advice and support to Oxfam’s country teams in strengthening best supply chain and logistics practice.

**What you’ll be doing**:
In this role, you will provide high quality, directly deployable and remote advice and support to Country Management Teams, projects and programmes. The focus will be on providing support and expert technical advice to country teams, championing and progressing Oxfam’s sustainable supply chain standards, training and capacity-building of key logistics staff, gap filling for Country Logistics Managers for complex large-scale humanitarian and development programmes.

**You'll have**:

- Significant experience of humanitarian/development supply chain and logistics management at country programme level in different countries and programme contexts
- Understanding of and commitment to sustainable supply chain practices and, in particular, approaches to reducing the environmental footprint of humanitarian aid
- Previous experience and understanding of ERPs or systems that manage business processes (supply chain management, procurement, inventory, etc. )
- Ability to analyse, evaluate and make improvements to the performance of logistics processes and personnel
- Training and capacity building background with ability and confidence to develop and present material to varied audiences
- Strong communication, diplomacy and influencing skills, to work effectively with senior management teams, staff and partner organisations in different contexts
