Lab Technician

Magics Technologies (Geel, Belgium) is a European fabless semiconductor company that provides high-reliability, fault-tolerant, and radiation-hardened chips for the space, nuclear energy, aerospace, and defense markets. **Responsibilities**:

- Order electronic/mechanical components, assembling PCBs and cables, drawing PCB layouts, making cables all to support the daily activities of the system engineering group.
- Ensure quality of all assemblies for which high accuracy is key and performs basic verification tests on the assembled PCBs.
- Arrange calibration of lab equipment, ordering standard consumables and organization of the lab.
- Send and receive parcels.
- Support other engineers in their development activities.

**Qualifications**:

- Interest in electronics, preferrable having a first experience in assembly of PCBs by hand or pick and place systems and assembly of cables and connectors
- Knowledge on PCB layout is a plus
- Basic knowledge of lab equipment and electronics is a plus
- Experience in trouble-shooting PCB's is a plus
- Good knowledge of speaking and reading English
