About the role:
The core of the role is to handle copy from the Brussels and London bureaus across all MLex services: Competition, Data Privacy, Trade, Financial Services, Financial Crime, Digital Transport, and Climate. These are complex regulatory issues and the Editor will need to develop a thorough understanding of them all in order to ask the right questions about sourcing or accuracy, or to put the reporting in context.
What we are looking for:
- Rock-solid editing skills with attention to detail and accuracy- Writing flair in both newswire and commentary formats- Ability to understand a range of complex topics- Multitasking and prioritising urgent stories- Social skills to work with and mentor reporters
