Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor

To lead its increasing number of development and manufacturing projects, Catalent Cell and Gene Therapy is looking for a highly motivated **Warehouse & Logistic supervisor.**

The Warehouse & Logistic supervisor reports to the Warehouse & Distribution Manager

**The role**

The key responsibilities of the Warehouse & Logistic Supervisor include:
General:

- Can be involved in all stages of logistic activities (from routine activities to specific troubleshooting tasks) and follow up on daily planning.
- Deals with team management and with specific sub-contractors.
- Generates and/or ensures finalization of documentation (procedures/instructions/forms) to perform specific logistics documentation.
- Ensure respect of EHS & cGMP rules in the working area.
- Support the set-up & management of Warehouses-Logistics activities (storage locations, flows in-out, etc..) for the launch of the Cell Therapy commercial production site
- Compiles KPIs of his/her team and feed continuous improvement of the Logistic team.
- Masters all parameters of Logistic processes (ie: storage rules or validation) and logistics associated tools (ie: ERP,).
- Plans, coordinates, and oversight daily logistic tasks.
- Brings and supports continuous improvement in the supply chain department and area of responsibilities
- Dedicates appropriate time in warehouse area to ensure all duties to perform according to quality system to support logistic team.
- Represents supply chain in some key inter-department working meetings (eg Tiers).
- Is highly trained/qualified is a referent to train colleagues.
- Upon specific request will represent the distribution Team. he/she manages to internal/external meetings.
- Is in charge of logistics and supply interactions for customer projects (ie: DP shipping, Cold storage management).
- Can support in quality and customer audits/Visits

Quality:

- Ensures cGMP implementation through Catalent’s quality system and feeds continuous quality improvement program.
- Ensures his/her team is adequately staffed, trained, and equipped (premises, equipment and any material) to execute required work. Shares appropriately work between team members according to their competencies and workload.
- Finalizes Deviations (Owner role) and CAPA for hierarchy approval.
- Involved in preparation and execution of any audits/inspections.

People:

- Functionally lead a team of logistic Specialists and logistic Operators.
- Ensures planning is built to restrict to the minimum extra hours. Can justify to hierarchy additional hours (out of normal days) when required. Regularly challenge resources over time based on the learning experience curve of the project.
- Is responsible for the training matrix (appropriated matrix and effectively trained staff) of his/her team, under his/her responsibility for the specific project.
- Could delegate activities to logistic Specialists or logistic Operators.
- Perform team evaluations and individual development plans of his team with the Manager of the department.
- Min Bachelor's degree or equivalent expertise
- Previous experience in the same field (warehousing and biotech company)
- To have already used an ERP system (enterprise resource planning) is a strong plus
- Experience in a GMP environment.
- Certification in Supply Chain and Lean Sigma are strong plus
- Fluency in French and good knowledge of English (oral & written)
- Rigorous, conscientious, team player and client-oriented
- Autonomous and organized
- Stress resistant and willing to communicate outside working hours (with US for instance)
- Flexible with good communication skills
- Open to learn and to manage new challenges
