**YOUR TASKS**
- You will be performing research on the topic of computational flow cytometry for Acute Myeloid Leukemia, setting up a computational pipeline for the automated analysis of cytometry data and the automation of diagnosis and prognosis for AML.
- You will be a bridge between the Data Mining and Modeling for Biomedicine (DAMBI) lab at VIB-Ghent University, and several clinical partners that perform research in AML, including UZ Gent.
- At least 70% of your assignment will be spent on academic research.

**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**
- You hold a thesis-based doctorate in biomedical sciences or equivqlent (obtained max. 6 years ago. This term of 6 years is determined by the date written on the above-mentioned required diploma).
- You have experience in flow cytometry analysis, preferably from a clinical perspective
- You have experience in computational flow cytometry data analysis
- You have a good background in data science/machine learning

**WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU**
- We offer you a contract of indefinite duration with a maximum term of 2 years
- Your contract will start on May 1st at the earliest.
