Product Stewardship Specialist Emea

The Product Stewardship Specialist (EMEA) provides product stewardship guidance and assistance to professionals across the Tape Solutions business in the EMEA regions. The incumbent assists with compliance to EPA, REACH, Prop 65 and other environmental and product safety regulations that govern Saint-Gobain products. This role works closely with the Composites Product Stewardship Leader (PSL), Other PSSs across Saint-Gobain, SBU and site EHS, as well as technical and customer facing organizations in the areas of product registration, monitoring and measuring product risk profiles, product compliance certifications, product carbon footprint, sustainable design, and continuous improvement in product sustainability and safety. This role contributes to establishing a regulatory focus on Product Stewardship and has a strong voice in the future vision for what “good” looks like with respect to sustainability and regulatory compliance. It will be a key player in creating a robust Product Stewardship culture where these factors are taken into consideration in both the short-term and long-term life of the products No in(direct) resources to be managed.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor degree (Engineering, chemistry, health/ medical sciences, toxicology, regulatory affairs, or related technical discipline);
- Fluent in EN (written & oral) - Minimum of 3 years of experience in Product Stewardship/ Regulatory Affairs with a proven track record of success in managing product risks (prefer chemical experience);
- Experience in appropriately communicating issues to site and business level management, balancing alerting vs. alarming dependent on the relative risk/ exposure;
- Technical knowledge in REACH, RoHS, Prop 65, TSCA, and other international regulations.
