**Role Outline**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Daily review, reporting and action of punch list requirements for the AXYS fleet
- Preparation of Expense Work Orders to ensure the demand is fulfilled by the manufacturing and procurement team
- Coordinate global multi-warehouse or location transfer of equipment and material
- Preparation of documents, e.g., commercial invoices, packing slips, certificate of origins, FTA certificates, insurance certificates, L/Cs, CERS (B13).
- Coordinate the flow of inbound and outbound freight while staying abreast of daily priorities and weekly transportation targets.
- Prepare and package products for shipping locally and internationally
- Ensure client requirements are met for all cargo pick-up and delivery shipments
- Ensure all orders are processed correctly and shipped on time
- Understand and analyze freight costs to ensure optimal performance and competitive cost
- Interact with vendors and work collaboratively to ensure all service expectations are met
- Audit freight invoices and approve for payment in a timely manner
- Respond to all client inquiries (e.g., schedules, rates, documents, and shipping procedures)
- Organize and maintain hard copy and electronic documentation supporting order fulfillment
- Maintain a strong and professional relationship with suppliers and internal stakeholders
**Required Qualification**:
- Grade 12 supplemented by APICs courses or three years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in the manufacturing industry
- Strong verbal and written communications skills to ensure coordination with internal stake holders, clients and vendors
- Experience shipping large equipment internationall
- Knowledge of supply chain concepts, practices, and procedures
- Experience with best practices for packing and material handling,
- Experience with incoming and outgoing customs regulations, brokers and incoterms and VAT definition
- Excellent MS Office knowledge and ability to effectively use other online shipping software tools.
- Familiar with MRP systems and working in an ISO9001 environment
- WHMIS, Forklift and Crane operation training are an asset
- Experience using fixed and hand shop tools
- Ability to maintain a high level of performance and composure in a dynamic environment and stressful situations
- Ability to understand and follow instructions, work independently, and multitask
- Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and key vendors
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
- Excellent organizational skills and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detai
- Must have a valid and clean BC Driver’s license
