UCB is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as the **Global Demand Planning Management Lead** based in Braine, Belgium.

**About the role**

In this critical role, you will be responsible for leading the demand planning function globally, ensuring accurate forecasting, efficient inventory management, and optimizing supply chain operations to meet customer demand and business objectives.

**What you’ll do**
- Develop and implement global demand planning strategies, processes, and methodologies to drive accuracy and efficiency in forecasting.
- Lead and manage a team of demand planners, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to optimize performance.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including commercial, supply chain, finance, and manufacturing to align demand plans with business objectives and market dynamics.
- Analyze demand trends, market data, and sales forecasts to identify opportunities for improvement and mitigate risks.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance demand planning processes, systems, and tools.
- Monitor and report key performance metrics related to demand planning accuracy, forecast bias, inventory levels, and customer service levels.
- Act as a key liaison between global and regional demand planning teams, ensuring alignment of goals, priorities, and best practices.

- Extensive experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or related field within a regulated industry
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to effectively lead, motivate, and develop teams in a global environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and formulate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence and build consensus across diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in demand planning tools and systems; experience with OMP and Anaplan, or similar ERP systems is desirable.
- Demonstrated track record of driving process improvements and implementing best practices in demand planning.
