As a Technical Writer, you will join the Customer Service department at RadioPharma Solution in our Belgian headquarters in Louvain-la-Neuve. As a Technical Writer at IBA, you will play a crucial role in translating complex technical information into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation. Your work will directly impact the success of our products and services, ensuring that our field service engineers, technicians and customers have the resources they need to excel.
You will perform an important role through a collaboration with a vast range of stakeholders within the organization, including but not limited to project engineers, scientists, R&D, product manager and technicians to obtain a very good understanding of the products and the documentation requirements.

As a Technical Writer, your role encompasses the following key responsibilities:

- **Structure documentation**
- Define the most logical and reader-friendly structure for technical documentation.
- Optimize content creation by maximizing reuse and single-sourcing opportunities across different documents.
- **Content creation**
- Dive into complex technical topics with the guidance of IBA technical experts.
- Write and refine descriptive manuals, guides, and procedures.
- **Relationship building**
- Recognize the importance of social skills in your role.
- Foster positive relationships with field service engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively to gather insights and ensure accurate documentation.

**What we value**

**You have**:

- A Master’s degree in engineering/sciences in electricity/electronics, electro-mechanical, biomedical, or physics
- At least 3 years of experience as a Technical Writer (or Scientific Writer)
- Excellent command of English & French
- Very good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package

- Solid understanding of complex technical concepts: Grasp intricate ideas related to our products, services, and technology.
- Ability to simplify technical content: Translate complex concepts into easily understandable text and visuals tailored to the intended audience.

**Cherry on the cake**
- You have a Ph.D. degree
- You have proven writing skills, e.g., authored peer-reviewed articles
- You have knowledge of Medical Device Regulations
- You have experience with the Author-it and Adobe FrameMaker tools
