**About the role**
- As a transport project coordinator in the Global Distribution Center of Barry Callebaut, you’re working in the
- heart of chocolate logistics. Out of our state of the art warehouse we handle 600K tonnes a year, this consists
- of finished products, raw materials and packaging. You will assist the logistics manager in exploring new opportunities to finetune transport to the needs of our
- clients and warehouse. You’re part of the local transport team, handling complex logistics flows and local
- transport between our factories in Wieze and Halle.**Key responsibilities include**
- Supports the logistics manager in transport related projects;
- Organizes complex logistics flows;
- Balances the conflicting needs of carriers - warehouse - costs - planning;
- Supports intercompany transport planning;
- Helps out in administrative flows;
- Operates in a team of 4 people which covers on-site permanency from 8AM to 6PM;
- As a transport project coordinator you are in contact with both internal and external stakeholders. It is an
ideal position to get to know Barry Callebaut and develop your interpersonal skills.
**About you**
- Minimum bachelor degree in economics/logistics;
- Fluent English is required;
- Capable to plan and prioritize;
- Knowledge of automated Warehouse storage/loading solution(s) will be considered a plus;
- Strong insights in transport and logistic improvements;
- Stress resistant;
- Analytical skills needed;
- Team player;
- Assertive person;
- Strong communicator.
