Prototype Technieker

Traxial is looking for a passionate prototype technician for assembling prototype motors and associated components. The prototype technician is a member of the operational team of experts who passionately collaborate on a portfolio of motors. Although experience in assembly is a plus, we are mainly looking for a skilled and motivated colleague with an eye for detail. The right attitude and “can do” mentality are essential.

**This is what you’ll do**:

- Support our engineering team in developing, building, and testing prototype concepts and motors.
Quality control on incoming motor parts ( IQC)
- Development of assembly procedures and technologies.
- Accurate mounting of all components (stator, rotor, shaft, bearings, etc).
- Assemble motors according to internal standards, clear procedures, and quality requirements.
- Conduct experiments and develop assembly optimizations.
- Complete the tasks on time and to high-quality standards.

**Who are we looking for?**
- Degree in a technical field, preferably (electro) mechanics.
- Several years of relevant work experience in an assembly/production environment is a plus.
- You are familiar with different mechanical technologies and you can operate a multitude of mechanical workshop tools.
- You have a focus on detail and quality in all your tasks.
- You are proactive, a good communicator, versatile, and have the flexibility to easily deal with change.
- You are proficient in working with computers and developing/following work instructions.
- You can work independently as well as in a team.
