**YOUR TASKS**- Design and fabricate an external cavity laser at visible wavelengths on a silicon nitride photonic platform.-
- Develop and integrate a lithium niobate modulator using micro-transfer printing techniques.-
- Combine the laser and modulator to create a wavelength-tunable laser system for speckle reduction.-
- Characterize the speckle reduction capabilities of the integrated system.-
- Collaborate with industry partners to align the technology with market needs and explore valorization opportunities**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**- You hold a Master’s degree, or a thesis-based doctorate, in Photonics or Electrical Engineering.-
- You have a strong background in integrated photonics and semiconductor lasers-
- Experience with cleanroom fabrication techniques-
- Familiarity with AR/VR display technologies (preferred)-
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team**WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU**- We offer you a contract of definite duration for the period of 1 year.-
- Your contract will start on 1/09/2024 at the earliest.-
