Your team and your responsibilities:
**Team description**
Vehicle Logistics (VLG) is responsible for the multi modal transportation of Toyota and Lexus vehicles from our Overseas - and Local Plants, to ports of export, inland compounds and/or retailers in Europe.
For those European markets where we assume responsibility until retailer delivery, our vehicles are Customised (Post Production Option Installations) and Quality checked (Pre Delivery Inspection) in our hubs, all strategically located within Europe.
Through the fundamentals of Safety and Quality, VLG’s core mission is to achieve on-time and shortest possible delivery lead time to Toyota retailers in Europe. This critical activity involves daily follow up and reporting, system enhancements and countermeasure implementation (transportation and hub workload management), from vehicle line-off to retailer delivery through Toyota Production System principles.
**Your responsibilities**
- You are the representative of VLG towards one or more markets
- As such, you are the main point of contact for the markets’ queries regarding vehicle delivery lead time, delays, abnormalities. Conversely, you make sure your markets follow VLG’s requirements and guidelines to secure a good service level (stock level, smooth workload, minimum monthly volume )
- You coordinate the launch activities, ensuring the required vehicles are delivered in line with the markets’ expectations, with the expected accessories
- You collect the markets’ accessory requirements and coordinate with the other functions of VLG to fulfil them

Your Profile:
- You are fluent in English (TME’s business language), any other European language is an asset
- You have had successful experiences in cross-department or cross-divisional project management
- You have a customer-oriented mindset, striving to reach ever better customer satisfaction
- You have full proficiency in the use of MS Office software, especially Excel, and ideally some experience in Power BI
- Knowing one or more programming or querying language is a plus
- Ideally, you have experience in operations management, either in a manufacturing or a logistics environment
