**Operations Associate**
**Summary**
An operations associate is responsible for assembling kits utilized in clinical trials, which assess the safety, effectiveness, and potential side effects of new medical treatments in humans. These kits contain all essential components for sample collection, such as requisition forms, labels, tubes, pipettes, etc. The operations associate's tasks involve ordering products, printing items like labels and forms, and ensuring accurate packaging.
**The tasks and responsibilities**
- There are various functional areas within the Operations Associate’s responsibilities. Operations Associates may be trained in one or more of these functional areas.
- Maintaining stock levels and receiving incoming products.
- Manual picking of supplies following a production work order.
- Custom label printing.
- Kit assembly: packaging products according to detailed instructions.
- Picking materials for shipping.
- Meet deadlines.
- Other tasks, as required, to meet deliverables.
**Profile**
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is an asset.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new processes.
- Competent in Microsoft office.
- Teamwork; effective communication; and customer focus are the core competencies.
- Reliable and have an eye for quality.
- Has a sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves.
- English speaking, Dutch is an asset.
- Work experience in the logistics or pharmaceutical sector (warehouse employee, order picker, packer, production) or willing to learn.
- Certificate to use a reach truck is an asset.
**Working Conditions**
- Timetable: Full-time 38 hours/week.
- Intermittent to frequent standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching, pulling items from their correct location, (shelves) and moving freight weighing up to 25 pounds and less frequently up to 50 pounds.
- Work is conducted in both an office environment and in a warehouse environment where products are assembled and distributed.
