POLITICO is looking for a motivated Accounts Receivable Team Lead to join its dynamic Accounting team. The position is a full time-job based at POLITICO Europe HQ in Brussels. POLITICO is a pioneering and growing media company that covers the politics, policy and personalities of the European Union.

**What You’ll Do**

In this role, you'll be utilizing your technical accounting expertise and people management skills with the following scope:

- Oversee a team of three, including a credit collector and two accountants
- Be responsible for the scope of all invoicing-related work
- Working with your team
- Prepare invoices and send them to clients
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, posting and recording accounts receivables data
- Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status
- Process accounts and incoming payments
- Follow up on credit collection processes and assist where needed
- Lead analysis on accounts receivables
- Participate in monthly closing processes; monitoring & cutting off revenue (top line)
- Being the PoC of our Sales department

**What You’ll Need**
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Significant prior experience as an AR Accountant
- Highly computer literate (MS office)
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent French and professional English
- Ability to effectively coach team members on AR accounting skills
- Pro-active, organized, dynamic and accurate
- Team player and ability to work independently
