_Subsidiary of Rail Logistics Europe (SNCF Group) and one of the most important european actor in the multimodal transport field, NAVILAND CARGO is specialized in combined transport (mostly rail / road) of maritime containers and provide pure road transport solutions for its customers as well._
We are now actively looking for a **Rail Coordinator M/W **to join our belgian team and develop the activity within our transport agency **in Antwerpen**.
**SKILLS REQUIRED**:
- Administrative profile who has already worked for at least 2 years in a road or rail transport agency
- Recently graduated from a Transport and Logistics curriculum with a 1st experience (apprenticeship included) in road or rail transport
- Experience in land transport of sea containers would be ideal
- A self-motivated individual with a keen interest and curiosity in the rail sector
- Being fluent in Flemish is a must, being able to communicate in English and French would be appreciated
**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
Responsible for preparing the loading of trains, before their arrival or departure from the rail terminal, he / she thus:
- Studies train boards before trains arrival to prepare in advance for the train's positioning on our tracks
- Optimises train boards (repositioning containers) before trains depart
- Checks that wagons are loaded in accordance with the train boards on arrival and before departure, and report any anomaly (problems with container weight, etc.)
- Informs customers of train arrivals and potential problems (delays, cancellations, undelivered containers, etc.)
- Takes charge of dispute management
- Organises the intra-port shuttle schedule with the rail operator
- Handles invoicing customers (stored containers, etc.)
