Automation Expert

As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, programming, commissioning, and maintenance of automated systems used in production and packaging lines. You will work closely with production and maintenance teams to ensure the smooth operation of equipment and troubleshoot technical issues.

**Main Responsibilities**:
**Installation and Commissioning**:

- Install and configure automation equipment on-site.
- Ensure the commissioning of systems in compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.

**Programming and Configuration**:

- Program PLCs and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) using standard programming languages (e.g., PLC, SCADA).
- Configure equipment settings to meet the specific requirements of clients.

**Maintenance and Technical Support**:

- Diagnose and resolve faults and malfunctions in automated systems.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance interventions to ensure optimal equipment performance.

**Continuous Improvement**:

- Propose improvements to optimize production and packaging processes.
- Participate in projects for the development and updating of automation systems.

**Documentation and Reporting**:

- Develop and update technical documentation for systems (manuals, procedures, electrical diagrams).
- Write intervention and maintenance reports.

**Training and Support**:

- Train operators and maintenance staff on the use and upkeep of automated systems.
- Provide technical support to internal teams and clients.

**Education**:

- Engineer or technician degree in automation, electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field.

**Experience**:

- Significant experience (minimum 3 years) in a similar position, preferably in the beverage or food industry.

**Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in PLC programming languages (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.) and SCADA systems.
- In-depth knowledge of control and regulation systems.
- Experience with drive systems, sensors, and actuators.

**Languages**:

- Technical English.
