Top job for an industrial Health, Safety & Environment Manager / Prevention Advisor level II.

**Your** **new** **company**:
Our client is an industrial valve manufacturing company oriented mainly to large export. In order to strengthen their Verviers site, our client is looking for a Health, Safety & Environment Manager / Prevention Advisor level II.

**Your tasks**:
As EHS Manager / Prevention Advisor II, you’ll ensure compliance with government safety regulations and industry standards, supporting the management in identifying and analyzing potential hazards. You’ll maintain relevant EHS logs and documentations (i.e.: regulatory requirements, industrial authorizations etc) and help the management with Local Authorities. You’ll plan, direct, and implement all facility safety and environmental programs. You’ll work with Management to identify, resolve and mitigate environmental, health and safety risks. You’ll support development and implementation of site level EHS strategy, programs, and initiatives, in accordance with industrial and organizational policies. You’ll recommend, develop, implement, and communicate programs that maintain safe working conditions, in partnership with Functional Supervisors and Managers. You’ll act as Company liaison for all EHS matter, drafting all required documentation, conveying all Global policies. You’ll ensure the physical security of the infrastructure. You’ll develop the multi-year welfare and safety plan, the overall prevention plan and the annual action plan. You’ll carrying out risk analyses (particularly in relation to events and security services). You’ll collaborate with regulatory agencies to ensure the understanding of compliance with all applicable EHS regulations and requirements (licences, authorisations, communication, etc.). You’ll collect, maintain and update all supporting files/documentations and all the regulatory requirements and reporting. You’ll maintain environmental health and safety audit records. You’ll ensure that the periodic and regulatory controls in terms of technical safety (electrical installations, machinery, elevators and fire risks) are carried out. You’ll develop and distribute all prevention tools (e.g. campaigns) related to its area of expertise and establish training programs for all levels of operation, ensure compliance with required use of Personal Protective Equipment.

**Your profile**:
You’ve got a technical degree and minimum of 5 years of relevant and proven experience in HSE Management desirable. You’re fluent in English and French (English is mandatory to collaborate with your N+1). You’ve got excellent knowledge of Microsoft suite. You’ve got good communication, facilitation and presentation skills (both oral and written). You’ve good interpersonal skills, and are able to adapt to different team members on all hierarchical levels and build positive relationships to influence demand. You’re a teammate and work in a structured manner.
