Logistics Coordinator

The primary objective of the Logistics Coordinator is to facilitate the strategic planning and management of all incoming and outgoing goods flows. By leveraging advanced analytical processes and project management techniques, the Logistics Coordinator serves as a vital link between management and customer service, optimizing logistics operations and enhancing overall efficiency

Operational support
- Maintain daily contact with customers to align on operational matters.
- Provide customer support in case of issues or concerns.
- Support and implement new customer requirements effectively.

Transport & Workload support
- Coordinate and monitor the incoming container flow through the inland port.
- Plan, track, and report incoming volumes using pipeline reports.
- Manage daily outgoing transport planning to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain daily operational contacts with port operators and freight forwarding teams.
- Ensure accurate scheduling of pallet deliveries to maintain a stable warehouse process.

Business Analytics and Reporting
- Analyze logistics data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepare reports on operational performance, including KPIs and efficiency metrics.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for management.
- Develop dashboards for real-time insights into logistics processes.
- Assist in forecasting future volumes and needs based on data analysis.

Project Management
- Managing projects in a team-based environment
- Tracking work to be completed, setting deadlines, and delegating tasks
- Ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget
- Reporting project outcomes and risks to the appropriate management channels

Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong networks and relationships with suppliers, customers, logistics partners, and other departments through regular meetings, both digitally and face-to-face.
- Provide support to back-office colleagues as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Strong service orientation with a proactive approach (beyond a typical nine-to-five mentality).
- Ability to network and foster good relationships with carriers, logistics partners, customers, and operations colleagues.
- Customer-focused problem solver with analytical capabilities.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the role.
- Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English (written and spoken).
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel for data analysis.
- Understanding of administrative and logístical processes.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is preferred.
