**What You’ll Do**
- IT Strategy: Long-term vision for architecture and design, leadership in solution development.
- Network Security : Manage and support implementation of virtual firewalls with VMware NSX, collaboration to translate business needs into tangible architecture.
- Incident Management and KPIs: Use of ITIL for optimal service management, establishment of monitoring and incident response plans.
- Compliance and Validation: Ensure compliance with standards and regulations, maintain up-to-date and scalable documentation.
- Team Leadership: Technical mentoring for junior members, guide project managers and experts towards technological solutions.
- Interfunctional Collaboration: Act as a catalyst for IT members and UCB colleagues.
**Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills**:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field - Ten years or more experience in a similar role. Five years or more experience in cybersecurity or related.
- Significant knowledge and understanding of all datacenters system architecture, platform and technologies: Server, Database, Storage, Virtualization, Application deployment, Monitoring, Data Protection and Recovery, System Security, System Management, System Automation, and System deployment.
- Proven expertise in infrastructure, particularly in network virtualization and large infra management within the pharmaceutical sector.
- In-depth knowledge of network security and regulatory compliance in the industry.
- Over a decade of experience in a similar role with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in French and English, with Dutch as an asset.
