Battery Cell Management Expert

As a Battery Cell Management Expert, you will:
- Develop demonstrators of new confidential concepts spearheading the industry
- Translating academic experience into product development advancing the TRL (Technology Readiness Level)
- Collaborate with external industry and research partners to introduce new technologies and develop early business opportunities supported by the Melexis marketing managers - advancing the CRL (Commercial Readiness Level)
- Develop new IP and drive the patent filing process with the Melexis IP team
- Lead or strongly contribute to the entire process from ideation to prototype validation and product definition - with further career opportunities in the same field in the product development, the business unit or new R&D topics in development engineering or innovation teams.
**Your profile**:
- You have a PhD in the field of Li-ion battery cell technology
- Industry experience is a plus, but not a must
- You have experience in electrochemical characterization methods (e.g. electrical impedance spectroscopy [EIS], cyclic voltammetry [CV],)
- You have a thorough understanding of electrical engineering (circuit design)
- You are familiar with public funding proposals and budgeting (time, effort, financial)
- You are passionate about Li-ion electrochemistry
