i-CITY is de technologische partner van de Stad Brussel en haar verwante organisaties (Openbaar Onderwijs, vzw).

De ambitie van de Stad is om een slimme stad te worden die een IT-paradigmaverschuiving teweegbrengt die de burger in het centrum van de politieke actie plaatst en hem/haar een unieke toegang biedt tot haar aanbod van producten en diensten, via een volledig digitale werking.

i-CITY ondersteunt de stad in haar omnichannelstrategie en leidt deze digitale overgang met als doel de dienstverlening aan de burgers en de werking van de administratie vanuit technologisch oogpunt te verbeteren.
Onze teams werken ook hard aan de continuïteit van de bestaande diensten, met behoud van een optimaal veiligheids
- en kwaliteitsniveau.
Op die manier beantwoorden wij aan de behoeften van de werknemers van de Stad, haar diensten, scholen, non-profitorganisaties en die van de burgers, dat wil zeggen duizenden mensen, om partners te zijn in hun gebruikerservaringen.

i-CITY telt ongeveer 160 dynamische en gemotiveerde medewerkers en is voortdurend op zoek naar zowel knowhow als interpersoonlijke vaardigheden.

I-CITY is een bedrijf op mensenmaat, met een vriendelijke, op samenwerking gerichte geest die een goed evenwicht tussen werk en privé biedt (NWoW, hybride werkmodus).

**Functie**:
Het Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) platform dat door de i-CITY teams is geïmplementeerd, host kritische toepassingen zoals de Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) op basis van WSO2 software en het Enterprise Data Management (EDM) platform dat in eigen huis is ontwikkeld. Deze implementatie was een project waarbij een multi-technologie infrastructuur, ontwikkeling en DevOps team betrokken was - gebaseerd op een hybride organisatie. De oprichting van een AKS engineer functie binnen de i-CITY teams definieert een nieuw werkkader.

De implementatie van de AKS-oplossing getuigt van de bereidheid van i-CITY om naar nieuwe oplossingen te zoeken en open te staan voor innovatie.

De functie van AKS-ingenieur ontwerpt, implementeert en beheert AKS-oplossingen die de niet-storende hosting van IT-diensten mogelijk maken die gebruikers op alle niveaus verwachten.

De belangrijkste taken zijn:

- Beheer van het AKS-platform
- L2/L3-ondersteuning
- Incident
- en probleemoplossing
- Voorbereiding/realisatie van wijzigingen
- Kennisoverdracht aan L1 teams
- Opstellen van Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
- Beheer van het AKS-platform
- Opvolging van versie-upgrades, patching van hosting nodes
- Technologiebewaking
- Updates en wijzigingen door Microsoft
- Nieuwe projecten ontwikkeld door de Kubernetes-gemeenschap
- Coördinatie met infrastructuurteams (Database engineer, system engineer,...), netwerk en beveiliging
- Ondersteuning van ontwikkelingsteams
- Monitoring van de deployments van applicaties op het AKS-platform
- Beheer van de integratie van Continuous Development Continuous Integration (CDCI) tools
- Ondersteuning bij het definiëren van technologische normen op basis van AKS
- Ontwikkeling van de applicatie perimeter gehost op het AKS platform door het zijn van de "commerciële" van deze technologie
- Ondersteuning van i-CITY oplossingsarchitecten
- Opstellen van documenten in het kader van overheidsopdrachten (Request For Information, Request For Proposal,...)

**Profiel**:

- Ervaring in het beheren van kubernetes-oplossingen vereist
- Kubernetes-certificering is een pluspunt
- Diepgaande kennis van cloud technologieën
- Ervaring met cloud architecturen: IaaS, PaaS, SaaS
- Diepgaande kennis van Microsoft omgevingen zoals Active Directory, MS Exchange, Server, Azure,....
- Kennis van de WSO2 oplossing is een pluspunt
- Je bent creatief in het zoeken naar oplossingen, autonoom, georganiseerd, gestructureerd met een ontwikkelde zin voor analyse;
- Je hebt sterke communicatieve vaardigheden, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk;
- Je bent pragmatisch en klantgericht;
- Je bent in staat om voorstellen te doen en je mening feitelijk te verdedigen.
