Cloud Solution Architect & Consultant

**About the role**

This position is within the **Benelux** team, which focusses on providing advice and guidance to customers on IT Strategy, Enterprise Architecture, and Solution Architecture.

As a **Cloud Solution Architect & Consultant**, **you will deliver value and excellence to our customers through key project engagements, and you will also support the growth of the **Technology Modernization Consulting **practice.

**Skills and experience - Cloud specific**:

- Previous experience in a Solution Design, Technical Lead or Architect Role is essential, with the ability to translate business needs and user requirements into detailed design artefacts
- Proven experience in designing well architected cloud solutions using pillars like reliability, security, costing optimization, operational excellence, and performance efficiency
- Proven experience in the use of cloud technologies, cloud strategies, and in the design of solutions for the cloud with hands-on on cloud adaption framework (CAF), designing and creating landing zones
- Experience with one of the platforms: AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Open Shift, Cloud Foundry, with understanding of the breadth of end-to-end technology stack and depth with one/two platforms
- Strong understanding of security concepts such as micro segmentation, DDOS protection, Web Application Firewalls, API Gateways, NSG’s, SSL, defining Security, and compliance policies is preferred
- Certification in any of Azure, AWS or GCP

**Skills and experience - general**:

- Strong communication skill in French or Dutch
- Expertise or knowledge across technology domains such as cloud, big data, analytics, artificial intelligence, IoT, enterprise automation, API, and architecture approaches like multi-tier, micro-services, event-based, etc.
- Knowledge of integration technologies and services, with the ability to design integration architectures (desirable)
- Consulting expertise gained with a management consultancy or systems integrator (preferred) and experience working on digital transformations is highly desirable
- Proven capability in providing technology leadership, delivering high quality, creative and insightful technology advice; you will ensure project success through timely and accurate production of agreed deliverables
- Driving the adoption of a Public Cloud first approach and a journey to cloud mindset
- Shaping, leading, and delivering value through technology advisory consultancy, and through guiding transformational delivery engagements
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills at senior levels that will enable consensus building and shaping technology direction

**Business development**:

- Lead and collaborate with teams across our business in the development and presentation of proposals to clients
- Lead in the development of collateral to support ‘go to market’ propositions and service offerings
- Use your personal contacts and networking skills to help grow our consulting pipeline
- Work with account teams to support opportunity identification, qualification, and sales
- Develop a cross practice understanding of service offerings to ensure effective consultative selling

**Practice development**:

- Contribute to the development of a knowledge management led approach ensuring the development of reusable collateral from assignments
- Team building: promote empowerment of the team, ensure that each team member is fully engaged in their projects and our team, making meaningful contributions, and encourage a sustainable pace with high levels of quality for the team
- Support wider consulting initiatives outside of the immediate practice or capability group
- Contribute to internal and external mindshare development through white papers, Points of View, and case studies
