Nationale Nederlanden is looking for a business analyst to join the ranks in the Belgium office. You will analyse, build, configure & work on insurance products (Car, Home,) and processes in our policy management system. In doing so you will learn the IT & business processes and functionality of policy management, which is one of the core components of insurance. You will have the opportunity to work in a vibrant team of young professionals.

**Your responsibilities include**:

- Analysing requirements & designing solutions (functional & technical)
- Building, changing & maintaining insurance products and insurance processes
- Tackle new product development end-to-end (from business alignment to production release)
- Cooperating with multiple business teams and other IT teams
- Advise users of the policy management system on how to use new functionality and solve issues
- A Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology.
- Languages like Python, JavaScript, Java, C++,
- Understanding the software development life cycle, version control systems, and code deployment.
- Data Management: Familiarity with database management systems is important, as product configurators often work with complex datasets to define product options and configurations.
- Configuration Tools: Experience with product configuration tools, software libraries, or frameworks is valuable. Companies may use specific tools tailored to their needs or industry.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Product configuration involves dealing with complex logic and data processing. Strong problem-solving abilities are essential to analyze requirements and design effective configuration solutions.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Familiarity with testing methodologies and quality assurance processes is valuable for validating the accuracy and reliability of product configuration systems.
