**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Resolve IT problems affecting the laboratory workflow and work to develop robust and efficient solutions.
- Be a partner to the business in evaluating multiple sources of user requests to further define the voice of the customer for solution development.
- Author and peer review solution documentation developed for our Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to reduce risk of late identification of requirements, incomplete solutions, or testing gaps during delivery.
- Support testing efforts to deliver high quality solutions that minimize business disruption when deployed.
- Work with the Technical Lead, Program Manager and Business to plan, estimate and deliver on all development activities to ensure effective and efficient program execution.
- Combine your existing scientific work experience, and your role in solution delivery to help end users fully utilize and adapt to the provided solutions. Partner with them to identify work arounds as required and to identify true root cause of any issues.
**Education Minimum Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Science, or Business-related field or relevant experience in IT and business process management.
**Required Experience and Skills**:
- At least 5 years of experience in lab systems and associated lab business processes and IT systems.
- Working knowledge of our core business structure and how own function contributes to and works within the organization.
- Knowledge/experience of development and deployment of foundational & innovative solutions in any business domain from conceptualization through delivery.
- Strong working knowledge of SDLC requirements.
- Fluency in English required.
- Business & financial acumen.

- Ability to work across boundaries.
- Project management skills.
- Influencing skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Relationship management and networking: strong integration into the IT network and ability to build productive relationships with all parties.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
**Preferred Experience and Skills**:
- Labware (LIMS) experience.
