Supervisior M/v

**Omschrijving**:
As a supervisor, you will work alternating shifts from 6-14am one week and 2-22pm the next and will be responsible for the "day-to-day" activities for the customer(s) within your warehouse and campus. You will be responsible for successful operational management within which quality, productivity, safety and people are central.

What you will do as a Warehouse Supervisor:
You will work as the right hand of the Operations Manager and provide direct leadership to the team leaders of the operation(s)
You always strive for the most optimal working conditions while ensuring work safety.
You guarantee the productivity but also the budgets.
You coach your team leaders and team members with respect to their development and hold evaluation and performance interviews.
You manage the entire operation: you identify problems, risks and possible bottlenecks in the work processes and take the necessary steps to solve them.
You actively look out for improvement opportunities in the operations and put them into motion.
You inform customers and consult with them on ongoing issues. You operate as the first escalation point for the customer regarding operational matters. This is always in cooperation with the Operations Manager.
You actively manage your budget, analyze your monthly financial results and take action where necessary.

What we are looking for

Bachelor degree or equivalent through experience
Preferably several years experience in a logistics environment and have sufficient maturity to lead a large team
Experience with or strong interest in warehouse procedures
Experience in coaching, motivating and supervising a team
Knowledge of WMS/logistics systems
Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word,...)
Strong sense of responsibility
Pro-active and problem solving
You are a strong people manager
Customer friendly and customer oriented
Motivated and flexible
