**Functieomschrijving**:
- Je werkt als Software Tester aan een geautomatiseerde testomgeving voor embedded softwareapplicaties in uitdagende machines, in nauwe samenwerking met het embedded softwareontwikkelingsteam en het testteam.
- Met jouw ervaring in softwaretesting ontwerp en implementeer je een configureerbare geautomatiseerde TEST-omgeving, geïntegreerd in de CI/CD-ontwikkelingsmethode.
- Je ontwikkelt een methodologie voor het testen van functionaliteit op verschillende apparaten en definieert de juiste testscripts, terwijl je het softwareteam ondersteunt bij het opzetten van testcases voor de applicaties.
- Je begeleidt de implementatie en onderhoud van de nieuwe testinfrastructuur en optimaliseert de CI/CD-pipelines voor de ontwikkelaars.
**Functie eisen**:
- Je hebt een masterdiploma in Computerwetenschappen of Elektrotechniek.
- Ervaring in de ontwikkeling van (real-time) embedded softwareapplicaties met kennis van OO-programmering, embedded besturingssystemen, veldbussen en communicatieprotocollen. Ervaring met Python is een pluspunt.
- Je bent bekend met TEST-systemen en automatisering van deze systemen.
- Interesse en ervaring in industriële en mechatronische apparaten, actuatoren, sensoren en motoren is een groot voordeel.
- Je werkt vlot met moderne tools en technologieën en bent eager om nieuwe programmeerscripts en talen te leren.
- Met een proactieve houding identificeer je alle behoeften voor een nieuwe, moderne testomgeving en uitgebreide testcases.
- Je beschikt over sterke communicatieve vaardigheden waarmee je de brug slaat tussen het ontwikkelteam en het testteam.
