To join our Supply Chain team, we are looking for a production planning manager.
What's in a name?
**Your responsibilities**:
Together with your 11 colleagues, you ensure daily achievement of production goals within the established budget and timeline.
- You manage a team of 4 planners responsible for mid-term and short-term planning of our tuft and paint departments in Tielt and Zele. You are responsible for optimal planning within the supply chain triangle of stocks, service level and cost.
- You act as the key liaison between customer service, sales, production, quality, procurement and suppliers.
- You contribute to projects aimed at optimizing our systems and processes.
- You oversee a relatively young team and focus on the development of your team members.
- You report to the supply chain manager.
Your primarily work form our site in Tielt but travels regularly to Zele.
**Your skills**:
At Belysse, we seek people, not robots. Of course, in a leadership role, we expect a certain level of maturity and experience.
As a manager, you possess strong communication skills as you interact with your team and various stakeholders (sales, production, procurement, etc) on a daily basis. You know how to conduct yourself in any situation.
You can dive into details while also overseeing processes from a helicopter view. This allows you to quickly determine the right actions for the short or long term.
Confidence is not lacking in you. This enables you to make decisions and advocate for your team when necessary.
Additionally:
- You have several years of experience in a leadership role within supply chain.
- You can handle the complexity inherent in a wide product portfolio and a production process with various and changing steps.
- You ave a thorough knowledge of Excel. Experience with SAP and APO is a plus.
