The BASF Belgium Coordination Center ensures the development, coordination and/or centralization of various BASF activities in Belgium. The Coordination Center includes the sales organization of BASF products in Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, as well as the corporate functions of BASF's global Performance Materials and Monomers division.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
This is your task package:
- As Compensation & Benefits Specialist you are responsible for checking the various payroll changes.
- You make calculations with regard to international mobility and manage the files of expats in collaboration with an external expert office.
- You act as an expert in the field of social legislation. You translate (new) legislation into concrete guidelines and ensure correct implementation and follow-up.
- You are the point of contact for questions in the field of C&B from both the Shared Service Center in Berlin and the HRBPs in your own country.
- In addition, you provide support in making commissions and various (accounting) calculations with regard to payroll.
- You ensure an efficient and effective implementation of payroll related HR processes.
- You also provide support for ad hoc HR projects and answers questions following audits.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
This is what we expect:
- A Bachelor or Master HR Management or Business Economics is recommended.
- You have extensive experience with Belgian payroll and social legislation. Internal mobility and accounting processing of wages and commissions are also familiar to you.
- You speak Dutch and French and have a good knowledge of English.
- You work autonomously, discreetly and accurately.
- You communicate fluently, are open minded and dare to take initiatives.
- Experience working in an international matrix organization with an HR Shared Service Center is an asset, as is knowledge of SAP.
