**Job description**:
Talenteeds, leading recruitment agency specializing in connecting top talent with exceptional opportunities in the manufacturing sector. Currently, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Controller to join our client, a renowned manufacturing company.
Job Description: As a Business Controller in the manufacturing sector, you will play a crucial role in providing financial insights, analysis, and guidance to drive strategic decision-making and optimize business performance. You will work closely with the management team to ensure financial transparency, evaluate operational efficiency, and support the achievement of financial objectives.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets for the manufacturing operations.
- Monitor and analyze key financial indicators, variances, and trends, providing actionable recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular financial performance reviews, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cost structures, streamline processes, and identify opportunities for revenue growth.
- Prepare financial reports, including monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements, management reports, and ad-hoc analysis.
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process, providing insights on revenue projections, cost drivers, and investment opportunities.
- Perform financial risk assessments, identifying potential risks and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide financial support and analysis for capital expenditure projects, including ROI calculations and investment appraisals.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to provide strategic recommendations for business growth.
**Profile**:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA or professional certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Business Controller or similar role within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and analysis techniques.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis using ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of manufacturing processes and cost drivers.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment, multitask, and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
